The Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI) has actively participated in the climate COPs since 2009, aiming to institutionally influence the Brazilian government in international negotiations, strengthen relationships with international companies and entities, and position the Brazilian industry as a leader in offering solutions for the transition to a low-carbon economy. Since 2021, with the implementation of its "Industry Strategy for a Low-Carbon Economy" and its accession to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), CNI has intensified its participation in the COPs. At COP30, CNI will promote the Brazilian Industry Stand in the Blue Zone.
