Food systems are critical to food security, public health, and sustainable development. The Food Systems Working Group aims to advance private sector contributions to mitigate environmental impacts from agriculture and livestock and enable sustainable, equitable transformation through three key priorities:

  • Establish a global, science-based, adaptable, and outcome-driven framework to guide transformation and mobilize capital for scalable, effective practices
  • Foster productivity growth through sustainable, resilient technologies and agronomic support that address environmental impact, resilience, food security, and access, especially in least developed countries
  • Build breakthrough financing and collaboration models to support farmers’ transition to resilient, sustainable food systems
